Warkworth Plumbing with Troy: Yesterday Tuesday 15 July 2025 was my 12 month annual pump & filter service of the new Dab Pump System and new Ultra Violet filter etc. with Troy of Warkworth Plumbing . Filter doing as designed, removing micro particles and improving drinking water quality a lot.,1 year old filter cartridges were black and were replaced. Pohutakawa Tree leaves ingressing via the gutters after windy weather in autumn. Plus windblown sand which is fairly typical in a beach community like Omaha. My next mission will be getting MobiCare to dive into my tank and suck out 10 years of sludge. My initial review below from 12 months ago still stands.as: AA Excellent Bloody good: “Excellent service and he solved a plumbing issue that 3 others couldn't : On 8th August 2024 , I had some Plumbing work done, which involved some trouble shooting to determine the problem and then a solution. This is probably the 3rd review i have done involving Troy in his role with Aqua Works or Warkworth Plumbing. All top notch reviews. I recommend this guy very highly. My approach to Google Reviews is this: Only review when the service is very good or exceptional, so that others , new customers can be guided to also take advantage of excellence . This provides a win-win for Company and Customers . The Company stays in business and new customers know where to go. My specific issue this time was a kitchen sink was not draining away properly. I've had 3 other local plumbers look at this and none have found the real cause. Troy found the issue by using logical thinking and experience. The problem was simple; The Gulley trap was buried below ground and covered by a garden by previous owners and was filled with sand and roots. Gully trap risers and perforated grate covers/breather pipes should be extended 100 mm above surrounding ground level, so that stormwater doesn’t ingress the Waste Water pipes and systems . A second issue solved by Troy at Warkworth Plumbing was Water Hammer in the pipes. Water Hammer apparently occurs when pumped water under pressure is forced through bends in the pipe system or for example a shower or tap is turned off sharply causing a backflow through the system creating a loud metal bang. Waking the bejesus out of sleeping older folks.Troy used some knowledge & logic to flip the pipe valve upside down and magically the water hammer stopped? No idea how a plumber would figure this, but he did. So big thanks to Troy & Warkworth Plumbing along with Aqua Works. Keep up the great work Troy- Regards JP.
