I worked with Stanley to add lights to an extension of my midcentury house. Initially he was very enthusiastic and accomodating about our vision to keep this new space in-keeping with the old, however it soon became apparent that he had no knowledge of working on older homes and was not interested in doing anything other than what you might do for a new build, using a pre-made kit-set.

I've been getting a kitchen and bathroom renovated on a bit of a pensioners budget. Stan at Halkett was very prompt to give a competitive quote, gave great advice, and helped rectify a couple of other little electrical issues. He was able to adjust attendance around other contractors and got things done promptly.
